The Best Revenge

The best revenge

The best revenge is to get over the hurt, move on, and continue to be happy and successful.

Don’t dwell on the past, keep moving forward, trust God, and keep your joy. The law of sowing and reaping (Karma) will soon catch up with your enemies. Those who have done you wrong will reap what they have sown.

God says, “Do not avenge yourself; leave that up to Me. Vengeance is my responsibility, and evil people will not escape my justice. One way or another, they will soon pay for their wicked deeds.” – Romans 12:19

Holding a grudge doesn’t make you strong; it makes you bitter. Forgiving (not necessarily forgetting) doesn’t make you weak,  it sets you free.

Baited Into Conflict

Baited Into Conflict

As much as we try to live a happy, positive life, occasionally we run into people who are so angry and miserable that they want to bait you into conflict with them. They are like garbage trucks looking for a place to dump all their filth into. Don’t let them use you as a dumping ground.

Don’t let them steal your joy and peace.

Stay clear of these people and just ignore their angry words and insults. If you allow them to engage you into a battle, you too will become just as angry and miserable as them. You can’t always prove you’re right or try to win every battle. Sometimes it’s better to simply walk away and wait for a better time. Getting into an argument of words will never succeed with miserable people and it will take a terrible toll on your mind and soul.

Remember that misery loves company. Stay in peace and keep a positive mindset no matter how much you are antagonized. Let the insults and hurtful words thrown at you just roll off your back. You’ll be glad you did.

Your Deepest Craving

Your Deepest Craving

Philosophers have been teaching on this important principle for thousands of years. Confucius preached it in China twenty-four centuries ago. Buddha taught it on the banks of the Ganges five hundred years before Christ. Jesus the Messiah summed it up in one sentence which we call The Golden Rule. He said, “DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU” (Luke 6:31)

Everyone longs to be loved and appreciated for their true worth, not constantly criticized for their faults. We crave to be lifted up by the words of others and not be put down. All of us need daily reassurance of how important we are in the world.

We don’t want insincere flattery either; we can always tell a phony when we hear it and wonder, “What is this person trying to get out of me?” But giving someone a simple, genuine and sincere compliment goes a long way to brighten their day, building up their ego and self-esteem, and letting them know how much they are appreciated.

Make it a habit to lift someone up everyday.

Let’s obey the words of Jesus Christ and give unto others what we want others to give unto us. It will make the world a better place to live for yourself and for others.

The Power of Faith

Faith is the substance of things desired, the evidence of things not yet seen (Heb. 11:1). Faith enables the believer to believe-in (have complete trust and confidence) and expect spiritual realities to be manifest in the physical world we live in.

Through faith we understand that God created the universe by speaking the worlds into existence. In the beginning (billions of years ago), God said, “Let there be be light, and there was light, and God saw the light, that it was good (Gen. 1:1-4).

God also has given us the power of becoming co-creators with Him through the power of faith and the right use of our tongues. Combined with faith, we can also speak things into existence. Faith is the ability to first desire, then speak, what we cannot yet see but know with certainty, that will soon be manifest.

Conversely, we can also speak negative things into existence by having a negative mind and a negative mouth.

Watch what you think and what you speak. Are you using your faith and tongue to bring good into existence, or bad?

“Life and death, good and bad things, are manifested in the power of the tongue.” – Proverbs 18:21

“Out of the same mouth can proceed blessing or cursing.” – James 3:10

“If anyone among you seems to be religious but controls not their negative tongue, they deceive themselves, for their religion is in vain.” – James 1:26

Accepted by God

accepted by godThere is a famous song that Billy Graham would play at the end of his crusades which says, “Just as I am, I come, I come.” It helped remind people to come forward and receive Jesus Christ without any reservation. That’s because many people wrongly believe that God will not accept you until you are perfect. I hear many say, “If God only knew all the bad things I have done, He would never accept me.”

That’s not true. God already knows what you’ve done and He says, “Come to Me, just as you are; I WILL accept you, forgive you, and help you to live a new life.”

He gladly welcomes anyone who is willing to come to Him. Jesus declared, “Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29

Rest for your soul.

We all need rest for our souls because life without God can be very stressful and exhausting. For one thing, we all suffer from insecurity. We want everyone to like us and affirm our value. But more often than not, we get hurt by people who criticize us and put us down. We are left feeling used, abused, unloved and rejected.

But God is NOT like that.

He loves you and cares for you like no other. When you seek a personal relationship with Him you will find that He is your best friend – a friend that will always build you up and never put you down. A friend that will accept you and stay loyal to you no matter how many mistakes you make.

God says, “I have chosen you, you have been adopted into my family, you are genuinely loved and accepted in the beloved. It doesn’t matter what others negatively say about you, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Come to Me and discover that my love and mercy will never disappoint you.”

So why not come to Jesus Christ right now? Pray to Him…just as you are, and receive His free gift of salvation and rest.

Are you weary in love?

disapointed by love

Are you weary of being slapped by the waves of broken promises? Weary of trusting in someone only to have that trust returned in an envelope with no return address? Pray and call out to God for renewed strength and power when you are feeling weak and rejected by others who cannot see your true beauty and value. Trust in God who will never disappoint you. He will always be faithful to love you like no other. He wants to give you a wonderful future and hope.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD God. ‘They are plans for good and not for your harm. I love you and want to give you a wonderful future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Our heavenly Father gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29)
